My philosophy of my garden |
The garden is a place of refuge, healing, renewal, and repose – of taking time. We connect to a world beyond ourselves there. It is a place to get in touch with all things and be in-the-moment. It is a place to marvel at possibilities, to celebrate and have fun. It is an instrument of one’s own expression and wonderment. We explore. We gather. We dine there. We play. The garden is a place of adventure if we have curiosity to learn. The garden is a sanctuary to creatures we have displaced: songbird, frog, damsel fly, bee, and owl. It is only right that we leave the land better than we found it, rich, alive, and green without toxic harm. |
